The ESA-funded Blue Economy project is a 2-year endeavor to deliver 3 technological solutions. These will deliver actionable information to selected key coastal stakeholders, focusing on the areas of coastal monitoring, ocean renewable energy, and marine litter.

In parallel, a range of Atlantic-focused recommendations will be developed from engaged stakeholder inputs, to:

1. inform and enhance the roadmap being developed by the European Space Agency for the Atlantic Region, and
2. found a seed Community of Practice for the Atlantic in developing satellite-derived information solutions to address the Marine Strategy Framework, and Marine Spatial Planning directives.
